My Sister Vicki's Financial Need

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Beverly Hamrick.  The beautiful woman in the photo is my sister Vicki Boone Miller, and my heart is very burdened for her right now.  She lives in Tennessee with her adult son Daniel, who has a form of Asperger's Syndrome.  Vicki is in serious danger of losing her home right now.  She was injured at work a few months ago and isn't able to work due to severe back issues.  She works for a company that gives Home Health Care where she is a caregiver to people who need help, but it's her who needs help now.  Several months ago her home was knocked off it's foundation as a result of a cargo van that slipped down a hill into her home. It was a major repair to the structure of her home. For months she tried to keep up with the cost of her electric that had been around $450.00 a month. We believe the accident caused the air conditioner duct work to break lose under her house allowing hot air to filter into her home and it was never inspected for repair. It was 100+ degrees in her house all summer long.  When we visited her in September it was horribly hot in her home. The Air Conditioner/Heater is still not repaired because she can't afford a repairman to check it to see what's wrong.  She was never able to catch up with all of her other financial needs as a result.  She is currently needing funds to pay her mortgage, her lot rent, her electric costs, her car payment and her insurance.  She was informed that she will be receiving papers this week to appear in court for not paying her mortgage and lot rent, and now she'll have court costs.  Today she tried to file for bankruptcy to hopefully give herself more time but they told her that she needed to generate more income before she could do that.

Vicki is a strong Christian woman who believes and trusts in God.  She is a woman who has faced many challenges in her life. She is now waiting patiently for The Lord to work in her situation.  She told me the other day that she is numb with fear. She has no one to help her and she feels very alone.  She isn't -- because I know there is someone who loves her and is watching over her from above.  I know that God hears her pleas for help, and He hears my prayers for my dear sister.

Friends, I know how difficult it is to donate to someone you don't know.  I understand that. I just really want to help her.  If I could, I would pay all of this for her but that's not possible for us to do right now . It would mean so much to me if you could help her out.  She may lose her home before the end of the year.  If you are able to help her, I would be so thankful to you.  There would be no way for me to ever repay your kindness, but I know someone who doesn't miss a thing and He is the rewarder of those who give from their hearts.

As the Thanksgiving holiday leaves us for another year, I can't help but think just how blessed I am and how much God has given to me.  I would be overjoyed if Vicki could have these same blessings being felt in her heart.

Thank you,
Beverly Hamrick
