Hi everyone! I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but our sweet Juice recently had to undergo an emergency endoscopy. For those of you who don’t know Juice, he is the sweetest and most energetic boy who loves to run, adventure, do tricks for treats, and cuddle. He is also one of the most food-motivated dogs I’ve ever known, so you can imagine our fear when he was suddenly unable to keep food down and we were rushing him to the ER.

The procedure was absolutely necessary to save Juice’s life, and we found that he had accidentally ingested a piece of a toy and had to have it removed. He has been in the ER for a few days now trying to recover from the aftermath of this discovery. As many of you know, emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive. Between the hospital stay, anesthesia, procedures, and medications the bills have already reached $13,000 and we are struggling to cover the unexpected costs.

Juice is the best dog and an integral part of our family that brings us joy, laughter and comfort every single day. I cannot wait to see him on the path to recovery and back to his normal energetic self.
