My dad, Chuck Humphreys, was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has served the community for years as a police officer and now detective. He loves his community and his family. My Dad’s cancer journey is just beginning. He is being treated at UT in Knoxville. He has multiple appointments every week. He also had a 8 day hospital stay in Knoxville where my mom missed work to be by his side. Gas costs alone are taking a very large toll on them as they travel to and from Knoxville multiple times a week. I know that times are tough for everyone and several people have already given to us privately. I also know so many are fervently praying for my Dad and family.
