Hi , can't believe I'm actually writing this as the last thing I want to do is ask for help when it comes to my own pets , but I really have no other choice, our beautiful 9 year old American bulldog went out for the bathroom to our garden as usual and must have slipped or done something on our 3 steps at our back door. She didn't make any noise but started limping really bad. I actually cancelled my pet insurance in August due to the premium being a bit too expensive and went to look for something else a bit more affordable, unfortunately my own actions have left me struggling to now afford surgery with help from insurance, as I haven't taken out new insurance quick enough, obviously I never expected this to happen to our girl.
I am a single mum to 4 beautiful children and carer to 2 who are autistic, I have limited funds with this emergency and need help urgently.
Our girl has been refused treatment at the PDSA and now needs surgery privately with an average cost of £3500 for crucial ligament surgery.
I can afford to pay £2000 myself but that alone won't help our dog.
Roxy is 9 and been with us since 8 weeks old , she is my support with complex PTSD, and generalised anxiety disorder, I can't bare anything happening to her , and this is devastating.
Please can anyone help to get her surgery.....even £1 could help build funds to help her , I have £2000 but it's not enough , thank you for reading x
