Help Bob Vieau

Hello friends and family,

Update: Thank you all for your generosity! Because of you, we have reached our initial goal! This goal will cover moving costs, and a new electric wheelchair to help him maneuver around my house, as well as installing ramps and handrails! Any money collected after this will fund Bob’s continued medical care and expenses. We are also looking in to converting the tub/shower into a walk in shower with a seat and handrails. Again, thank you all so much!

Most of you know that Bob has had several health issues over the past year. For those that may not know, Bob has had a leg amputation due to diabetes and circulation issues. He has also been diagnosed and is under treatment for lung cancer. He has been in and out of hospitals for the better part of a year.

What you may not know, is that Bob is living off of Social Security alone. He has sold off all of his assets to pay for living and medical expenses. He has not been able to qualify for Medicaid, so he will no longer be able to live on his own at the Independent Living home.

The plan is for Bob to move in with me here in Florida. In order for this to happen, he will need some money to fund the move. In addition to the move, we will need to renovate a bathroom and make some minor adjustments (ramps, handrails for safety) to my house to accommodate his wheelchair.

Bob has always been so generous. He has helped so many people over the years. I am asking that you please consider helping this great man.
