Support a Veteran's Healing Journey

Hi, I am Carrie, I am a 100% permanent and total, service-connected veteran.

I have two knee replacements coming up. The first the end of this month and the second in October. There is an outpatient procedure that can be done 2 weeks before the surgery that is not covered by the VA nor my private insurance. This procedure iovera will basically cryofreeze the nerves in and around the knee joint. This will allow for a lowered pain level and a much faster and easier healing time.

I would have to have a minimum of $900 next week 11 Jume 2025, to have it done in time. Another $900 two weeks before the second surgery.

With my weight slowing the healing process and increasing my pain level I would love to get this to this done. However, there is no way I could afford it. I was hoping by reaching out to friends and family if y'all have a spare $10 or $20 to contribute towards this I would be eternally grateful. If you can't spare, please do not put yourself in a bind.
