Hey friends, on NYE my sister's dog Casper had to get an emergency surgery for a blockage in his stomach. A massive knot of turkey twine was removed and after some complications with pancreatitis and infection, he is finally recovering well.
This has been a particularly rough time because my sister Michelle has been diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma at the end of 2018. Because of that she's been off work to focus on her health, healing and treatment options. After Casper's surgery and a $8k bill, he’s recovering well (thank goodness) but of course, since it’s a really tough time for that amazing duo, we’re raising funds to support these vet bills that saved his life

A bit about Casper: a beautiful Maltese-Poodle mix, he is 10 years old with bright green/brown/grey eyes. He is so loving and gentle and adored by everyone he meets.
