My dad has been our leader, light and generous to everyone around him. He took on my brothers and me in marriage and never made us feel we were stepchildren. He had such a huge heart for family and created space for everyone to feel love. Dad has struggled with Type 1 Diabetes since he was a teen and has undergone countless medical procedures that our family has supported him through. Dad was a dreamer and visionary and never let his diabetes be an excuse to enjoy life. He passed away last Tuesday 12/13 after a 3rd heart attack this year. The Funeral will be in Washington State on January 10th and we need help raising funds to cover the costs and to help my INCREDIBLE mom with probate and the next steps of life. Mom and Dad were Married June 16 2000 and his passing has been extremely hard for her because I know they were soul mates. If you can do anything to help my mom in giving dad a beautiful send away I know it would lift her spirit.
