Hi, everyone my name is Jas and I am creating this GoFundMe to help my family get back on our feet after a devastating fire that happened in the front apartment of our duplex home that left us without a home and most if not all our belongings.

Early Monday morning on February 9th 2026, my mom was woken up by my brother who was notified by the next door neighbor yelling to get out because our house had caught fire. The fire had started in the front apartment which was occupied by tenants who had just moved in this past October 2025. In the short time they lived in the front there were many complications and unfortunately my family that has lived here for the past 10 years have lost absolutely everything due to the damage cause by the fire leaving behind smoke damage, water damage and the ceiling caving in. Though it is still an on-going investigation at this point the house is no longer livable and is set to be demolished. We do not have renters insurance so we have no way to start rebuilding our lives.

Helping us get back on our feet during this devastating event.
