On the evening of February 16, Jamie Kugler's home and vehicle suffered extensive damage in an electrical house fire located in Spring, Texas. Thankfully, Jamie, her son Joshua, her stepson Erik and his two toddlers escaped unharmed. 

Jamie, a single mother and nurse, is my son's stepmother. Jamie is a wonderful person who never blinks an eye when it comes to helping others, which makes this even more heartbreaking.

Because victims of fires this extensive face overwhelming costs, I'm hoping this campaign can help alleviate some of their burden. As a renter, Jamie and her family are not eligible for any insurance proceeds claimed by the landlord.

Therefore, I am hopeful that we, as a community, can help Jamie and Josh  rebuild their lives. They will need to purchase another car, furniture, clothing, shoes, and basic miscellaneous items needed for daily use.
