Hello! My name is Haylee Gatien and I am the treasurer for Bay College’s student club, BPA. This March, BPA is participating in a fundraiser called the Chain of Love. The Chain of Love is a fundraiser where you can receive a paper chain link to honor someone close to you. We will attach your individual chain link to the chain we have started to form one big Chain of Love!
The proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit the Area 1 Special Olympics. This program offers individuals with various intellectual and/or physical disabilities the opportunity to get involved with the sports everybody enjoys. This organization is completely self-funded, so the money raised will help cover the cost of uniforms, equipment, and travel. The athletes in this program are not responsible for any of the costs of participating. Their only obligation is to show up and have fun!
The Chain of Love and fundraiser check will be presented on Saturday, March 7 at the Escanaba High School. On behalf of BPA and the Special Olympics, we appreciate any possible contributions! Thank you!
