John Hawkins Memorial Fund

Hi, my name is John Kuntz, and I have known my friend and co-worker, John Hawkins, for over 30 years. Tuesday, November 12th, 2022, was a very SAD day for his family and friends as we lost one of our own. Our long-time friend died suddenly, leaving his adult daughter Eleena, whom he lived with and all of us in shock.

Many of you have personally expressed how much John meant to you and shared that with the group. His love of life and eagerness to teach others through his work and play were key to John's personality. We are heartened to see how many have expressed their love and appreciation for John's consistently positive attitude and generosity. John always encouraged others to join him in his zeal for fun, camaraderie, and adventure.

I am creating this Gofundme site to help raise money for John's daughter, who has been left with the unenviable task of closing out John's life and moving forward. The funds will help pay her rent and utilities for the next three months, funeral expenses, liquidation of his business, moving costs (she will need to leave their 5-acre working farm), and a memorial.

With your help, Eleena can start to go forward as she grieves for her father. Your generosity can help give her a new start in life as this sad chapter ends.
