Bozidar "Ray of Light" Rajkovic

Our father, Bozidar "Ray of Light" Rajkovic,  spent over ten years in the Long Term Care (LTC) community and we witnessed first hand how hard and difficult it was for the staff to care, comfort and provide medical services to the elderly.   Every family dreads the day they can no long care for their parents and must rely on the LTC services.   We are thankful and beyond grateful to the hard working Staff of the Mississauga Extendicare who cared for him with love and compassion and made his time in the LTC brighter.   Even with their valiant and detailed oriented protocols and procedures, they could not prevent Covid from claiming our father.   Bozidar "Ray" Rajkovic was knows and nicknamed "Ray of Light" due to his friendly sense of humor and contagious smile.  In lieu of flowers, we created this campaign: Bozidar "Ray of Light" Rajkovic, where you can choose to donate funds that will be used to support the Long Term Care Facilities and the PSW staff. 

Bozidar 'Ray' Rajkovic October 2nd 1942-Jan 17th 2021. Bozidar ( Meaning God's Gift) At his Long Term Care Facility they would call him the 'Ray of Light', that is our father, a husband, a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend to many... He was a Dreamer, Visionary, Mentor and a Force of Nature that overcame any obstacle that got in his way to make sure he took care of his family no matter the cost. His unconditional love, determination, kindness and generosity will always be remembered. His strength will carry on to his loving wife Dragica Rajkovic and his 3 children Nikolas (wife Anna), Katarina (husband Nenad) and Daniel and his 5 beautiful Grandchildren Stefan, Milan, Damian, Aleksander and Viktoria. His infectious smile, charm and sense of humour will be remembered fondly as a man of great integrity, spirit and brawn. Coming to Canada and becoming a someone to build a better future for his family was his dream and he succeeded. We thank you for all you have done for our family and we will carry on your legacy from the great example you demonstrated to us and everyone around you. You will always be embedded in our mind, heart and soul as our hero and protector. You had a giant heart that bled for the world and anyone who ever met you could never forget your intelligence, love and empathy for others. Rest in peace our beautiful father! You are resting now, proud, fulfilled that you accomplished your dreams and know that we will continue your legacy with pride, strength and courage. Just like you taught us.
