I come from a neighborhood that was riddled with crime, drugs, and poverty. However, at the age of 13, I decided to start cutting hair. My passion for it exceeded all other hobbies I liked. God showed me a way to be able to provide for myself and future family that did not involve criminal activity--but rather an honorable profession. With this in mind I started the Boys to Barbers Program. The Boys to Barbers Program is an endeavor to teach young boys about life through cutting hair. I believe that if these young men had a legal option to pursue, a lot of them would not become criminals. We are raising money to provide all attendees their very own barber tools. (Including clippers,trimmers, a cape, combs,sheers etc.)
