Boys Gymnastics team needs your help!
Donation protected
The unexpected cut of the boys' competitive gymnastics program by the team's former gym has put our boys' athletic dreams in danger of ending. Our extraordinary team of gymnasts (aged 6-12) lost their home with only 2 weeks notice. In the face of our team’s crisis, Ultimate Sports Connection in Concord, CA has graciously agreed to take on a new boys program with nearly no notice. However, USC is not equipped to train a boys gymnastics team. Please help us purchase the equipment necessary to keep their competitive dreams alive!
Our coach, Coach Eric, led three of the team’s older gymnasts who recently represented Northern California in the Regional Gymnastics Championships in Reno, NV. The Level 3 boys, the youngest group in a 6-18 age group, won second place in the California State Gymnastics Championship!
Boys gymnastics is an endangered sport with very few places for boys to train. The most likely outcome from this business decision would have been for many of the boys to quit the sport. Every single athlete in this extraordinary group has stayed with the coach and their team through this hardship with dedication to their sport and each other. The boys need equipment specialized to mens’ gymnastics events such as parallel bars, rings, and pommel horse. We are asking for the aid of our community to help these gymnasts continue training in the sport they love. We seek to raise $10,000 to quickly acquire the appropriate equipment and grow the mens’ gymnastics program.
By donating any amount, you may be able to say – in 5 to 10 years from now – that you helped create the next great men’s U.S. Olympic or collegiate gymnast.
Thank you!
