Boyle Heights Zapateros 14U boys have just won area finals and are now headed to Chino to compete for sectionals. As area Champs the boys now have a very special opportunity to travel to Hawaii and compete in a 4 day tournament where invited teams from all over the AYSO will be competing at. The tournament will take place in the Island of Oahu from July 4-7. The money will be used to cover their air travel expense to Hawaii. Where they will live the unique experience of traveling together as a team and learn where their soccer talents could one day take them to. They will represent for the first time in Hawaii our community of Boyle Heights. We hope that through this unique experience they can learn that their love for soccer can take them anywhere in the world. Money will also be used to cover ground transportation from the hotels to the tournament center along with new uniforms for the boys and tournament fees. The boys are doing a great job and finished undefeated on our area proudly representing Boyle Heights. Most of these boys come from low income families who cannot afford club fees and are playing AYSO but are very talented soccer players.Please help us raise money to help them travel to compete to higher areas and encourage their love for soccer.
