Boyd’s Fight

On behalf of Jacob & Charity Oakes, collectively as neighbors & close friends, we have started this page to help support them and their three beautiful children, Boyd, John & Lydia, as they face a very challenging time. Their 6-year-old Son Boyd has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. Boyd has already endured a surgery to remove a large portion of the tumor. Next week, Boyd will start chemotherapy and radiation treatments for the next 6 weeks.
We can all relate to the fact that when going through difficult times, not having to worry about grocery shopping, meals and the hefty bill for lodging can relieve a lot of stress. The funds raised here will go directly to supporting the Oakes family during this unimaginable time. No child or parent should ever have to endure this.
Boyd is an avid superhero fan. Superman being one of his favorites. Let’s all be a superhero today!
