Boycie the Bulldog vet bills

Hi, I’m Becca, and in April 2022 I became a dog mom for the first time, by February 2023 I was a dog mom of 3

Benny was my first (american bulldog cross) who was 15 months old who I rescued following him being seized by the police for welfare due to neglect, Boycie was my second (english bulldog) who was 5 years old who we took in from a family friend due to unforseen circumstances and Marley was my third (bulldog mix) who was 6 months old again who we rescued after being seized by the police for welfare due to neglect and they became the bulldog brothers and mine and my husbands babies❤️ We have always catered to their every need medical and happiness and tried our best to give them the best life possible!

However we have recently taken Boycie to the vets for what we believed to just be an broken/infected toe nail however to our horror we have found out we are looking at cancer, something we never even considered… We were told to try Boycie on antibiotics and steroids and if it was just an infection it would just go down in the next few days, however this has not been the case and Boycie has deteriorated quickly, he can’t keep any food down as he’s being sick about 6 times a day and he can’t control his bladder which we believe are side effects of the steroids that unfortunately are not working.

Our hearts our broken and I never thought i’d be in a position like this to need to ask friends, family and strangers to help but our future for Boycie looks like X-rays, biopsies, bloods, likely amputation and any further medication or treatment and unfortunately we cannot fund all of this ourselves. We have looked at all of our options and Gofundme was our final one

I have had to put my pride aside to set this up but I will always do whatever is best for my babies so please if you can even give a pound or even just sharing this fundraiser please help us try and save our Boycie.

Anyone who knows Boycie knows he is usually your typical english bulldog, dramatic and sassy as ever, you’ll either find him running around like a nutcase or fast asleep on his back, he loves everyone but most importantly his bulldog brothers Benny and Marley that would also be lost without him.

For everyone who knows me and Boycie knows he is my entire world, he is my support dog and the thought of losing him and not being able to help him breaks my heart.

Please also share awareness of nail bed tumours as it was something i didn’t even know existed! Please make sure you are checking underneath your dogs nails and inbetween their paws to try and catch this as early as possible!
