Boyce’s Fight for a Liver

In 2020 my dad was diagnosed with NASH cirrhosis for which the only cure is organ donation. Since that time we have been in pursuit of a match, but unfortunately we have reached the point in his disease where that search has become more urgent.

Currently he is intubated in the ICU at BUMC where they are evaluating him for liver transplantation using cadaver donation. Now we are walking the fine line of wanting him get better on his own while also desperately hoping he can get the liver he needs in order to live many more years being a husband, a father, and a pappy.

As you can imagine, it is extremely difficult for my mother to be far from him at this time. Any donations will be used in the short term for hotel costs, food, gas, parking, and other miscellaneous expenses resulting from this hospitalization. Anything additional will be used for mounting medical expenses.
