We are raising money to offset the medical costs and help the family of a 16-year-old boy scout Logan Farver who was seriously injured in an accident on the family farm while bailing hay on Monday 5/29/23.
Logan was life-flighted from the scene to Geisinger hospital in Danville, PA where he remains in serious condition. He has suffered a broken pelvis, damaged spleen, broken collar bone, broken ribs, broken arm and broken wrist all requiring surgery to repair. To date, he has undergone several surgeries and has more to come. He will need a great deal of physical rehab in the upcoming weeks and months.
Logan just celebrated his 16th birthday and received his learners permit last month. He is a student in the Northwest Area School District and is also enrolled in the Welding program at Wilkes-Barre Vo-Tech.
Logan enjoys fishing, camping and working on machinery. He can often be found helping his dad and brother repair equipment in their garage.
Logan is the youngest son of Ken and Denise Farver’s four boys. Logan and his family are always there for the community and supporting our veterans. They are involved in community improvement projects and conservation initiatives. His father Ken is the local cub scout pack leader and assistant scout master of Logan’s Boy scout troop 17.
Please consider donating to this very special family and ease the financial burden during this very trying time. All money raised will go directly to the Farver family to offset the expenses they will incur during Logan's recovery process.
Please keep Logan and his family in your thoughts and prayers
Thank You.
