About the Film:

Your generosity will give the opportunity for the filmmakers to work and bring the story to life. Each contributor helps to support independent filmmaking and makes a huge difference in the production. It is the hope of the film to raise awareness of mens mental health through the presentation of the story. Each donation helps to cover food, transportation, production design, and location expenses for the development of the film. Although there is only two days of principle photography these expenses can equal thousands of dollars when producing a short film. Having previously produced and directed a short films successfully the team will use the funds to make the film possible!

Being a small independent production our biggest challenge is securing the location and feeding the crew. All of our film equipment is covered and insured but the challenge comes when our production starts. We need to transport people to the set feed them and transport them home afterwards. The team has handled productions of this size before and has arranged as much donated labour and time as possible from its crew members. We are transporting old furniture for one of the dream sequences and having a budget helps us push the verisimilitude of what is in the frame in terms of production design. Our location will cost $600 a day and food expenses are expected to exceed $800. With the help of our contributors the team hopes to overcome these challenges and bring the story to life.

Sincerely,
-Zachary Alexander Bean
Director
