Support Vasquez Family after Tragic Accident

Hi, my name is Kyara Vasquez, and I am writing this with a heart that feels completely shattered. On September 11, 2025, our family was hit by a tragedy we could never have imagined. My dad and my two beloved nephews, only 6 and 9 years old, lost their lives in a horrific accident on their way home from Tonopah to Phoenix.

Their grandma—my mom— was also in the truck. She survived but suffered severe injuries: her entire left side is broken, and she faces multiple surgeries and a long, painful recovery. My 15-year-old brother survived with a serious back injury and will need 24/7 care once he’s released from the hospital.

The boys’ mom—my sister—is a single mother on one income. In an instant, she lost both of her children, her entire world, and is left to navigate this unimaginable grief. Her life has been forever changed, and the pain she feels is something no parent should ever endure. My sister is having to organize everything for her kids and my dad’s funeral and having to stay strong and figuring out all the details. For those who are curious about funeral service dates we have not been able to finalize anything yet, but we will share once we know. 

My family is having to face these overwhelming financial burdens: funeral expenses for three loved ones, mounting medical bills for my mom, and the challenge of keeping up with household bills while both of us sisters dedicate all our time to helping care for my mom and brother.
