***UPDATE***

Today my mum came and collected me from the vets as I had my big operation yesterday. It's going to be hard living in doggy jail for the next 2 months but mum assured me that it is the best thing for my recovery.

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all the best wishes and to those that were kind enough to give donations. I was absolutely blown away by people's generosity. I am forever grateful and will smoother you with kisses when I see you. My human friend has added some new pictures and proof of payment to the wonderful vets that did my surgery. Thank you all again.

My name is BOW. Myself and my siblings were abandoned along with my birth mum in a box a little over a year ago. A wonderful rescue in Cork took us in and I was adopted by a wonderful lady as soon as I was old enough to leave my birth mum. I started limping so my mum took me to the vets where I had to have sedation and an x-ray. I was diagnosed with having a hereditary degenerative Cruciate ligament and need surgery to repair it so I can go out walking with my mum again and live my life to the fullest. At the moment I'm in severe pain but the lovely vets have given me pain medication to help me get through the next 3 weeks whilst I wait for my surgery date. I know that mum will struggle to pay for all this treatment so I was wondering if you could PLEASE try help her out a little for me.
