Help Open the Outdoors

My name is Jeff Bowman and I have a very big goal to meet and am hoping for some help. First, let me tell you a little about myself. I went to Michigan Tech and earned my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. I have always been an avid outdoorsmen, but unfortunately in 2008, I had a hunting accident that left me paralyzed from the chest down and confined to a wheelchair. Although I do have use of my arms, my current wheelchair has many limitations. I am currently trying to raise money to purchase a new Action Track Standing track chair. These unique chairs allow the user to stand or sit, giving them a much broader range of motion.

This specialized chair would give me the self-confidence and ability to actively look for a job so that I may financially support myself and live independently. This chair would also allow me to get back into the outdoors and enjoy all the activities that the northwoods provides, which is extremely difficult with my current chair.
The Action Track chair I am interested in is Model # 2093 TR 20/20. I have been lucky enough to recieve a grant from Action Mobility Foundation for $5000, Leaving a balance of $11000. I am hoping my luck continues and I am able to raise the balance through this GOFUNDME account. Unfortunately time is of the essence, I have only until December 2016 to raise the money needed or I will lose the grant.
