“Bowls Club Blues” is the name of a poem written by Osker Morieson: a lawn bowls club employee by day and underground Melburnian poet by night. Osker is an eccentric character, whose poetry and way of living call back to the lifestyle of the Australian Larrikin, an archetype lost to time. This documentary not only aids as a visual accompaniment to Osker’s poem but also as an existential and somewhat surreal exploration into how this modern day Larrikin slots into a contemporary Melbourne's inner-north setting.
