In surah two, verse thirty-three Allah says: “And be steadfast in prayer; practice regular charity, and bow down your heads with those who bow down (in worship)”. From the Qur'an we learn that giving is simply worth “the reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:274).

I am Abid Hussain (father of 3 children age 10, 8 & 6 years) living in Cranbourne South (Victoria). I do not have PR or Citizenship and does not have any Government support. My world has turned upside down when I have been diagnosed with Bowel Cancer (Stage 4). I have lost 22kg due to cancer. I am currently getting immunotherapy and just starting with chemotherapy.

I am facing lots of extreme pain, and health is deteriorating quite rapidly. My insurance covers most of the health expenses but I still have to pay the gap, medical tests, medicines. This has been my last resort as I am truly struggling to pay for even my medicines, rent and basic groceries.
