Bourbon & Blessings: Supporting Zyler's Road to Recovery

Along with our dear friends at Proof 192, we will be offering the opportunity to taste or take home rare/allocated bourbons and whiskeys to benefit the family of our son Drew and his beautiful wife, Myranda Smith. On May 20th, they had their second son, Zyler in Phoenix. On May 21st he was lifeflighted to Phoenix Children’s hospital after doctors detected a critical issue with his heart. He will undergo open heart/reconstruction surgery in the coming days. This will require weeks of care and follow on medical procedures.

On Saturday, June 1st, from 12-3 pm, we will be hosting an event at Proof 192 to raise funds to help with the coming medical and family bills. We will have pours of rare/allocated bottles available as well as silent auction of some as well. 100% of donations from pours and auction will go to the family. Please support our cause as we attempt to bring our community together to get them them through this time, and Zyler healing.

Other beverages will be available. Proof is generously donating ½ of all sales of mixed drinks to the family as well during our event.

Drew is an Elkhorn Baseball HOF member, and a grad of 2016 from Elkhorn High. After a successful college career, including Grand Canyon University and Northeast in Norfolk, NE, he played in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. He currently instructs youth baseball players from 8-18 years old in the Phoenix area, and has conducted clinics in the West Omaha area for youth players here also. Myranda is a nurse in the Phoenix area. They are also the loving parents of Zander, Zyler’s big brother.
