BOUNTY HIGH-A CSU STUDENT WESTERN FILM

WHO?

My name is Nathan Bauer, and I am the producer of BOUNTY HIGH, a Cleveland State University senior thesis film written and directed by Wyatt Woods.

THE PLOT:

After two aspiring bounty hunters kill her father during a botched arms deal, a vengeful woman decides to track them down in order to gain closure- at any cost. We follow both sides of the story through a desolate and morally bankrupt world in the near future, a place where anyone can take the law into their own hands.

WHY WYATT?

"Last year, I wrote, directed, and starred in my directorial debut, SNAPSHOT. This project was entirely funded and completed thanks to generous viewers just like you!

As a lifelong fan of westerns, I have always longed to create a story that can bring the conventions and feel of spaghetti westerns into our modern age. BOUNTY HIGH began as a short project made during my freshman Production 1 class, and has slowly developed into an action-packed tale of revenge, greed, and morality. I truly believe in this script and hope to use this short film to pitch to studios, both as a possible feature film and as a showcase of my abilities in general.

As I’m sure you can tell, I love big stories, big characters, and big worlds, and BOUNTY HIGH is my best attempt at making those elements feasible on a small scale. We have an incredible crew of CSU alumni and current students to help bring this project to life, and I can't wait to get shooting!"
