Bound to the Pyre - Student Short Film

Hi, my name is Alex, I'm a collaborator apart of the creative production company So Fine Productions. Me and my team are hoping to raise funds for one of our new student film projects titled "Bound to the Pyre."

"Bound to the Pyre" is the tale of a queer woman evading capture after being accused of witchcraft, in 17th century Lancashire, amid the infamous Pendle Hill Witch trials of 1612. She wrestles with the guilt tied to her identity as her future narrows.

We plan to film outside Clitheroe, in the areas surrounding Pendle Hill and hope to raise funds for: travel for the cast and crew, location permits, costume and production design, marketing and distribution for film festival submission costs.

We are working with the University of Salford to make this film come to life but need a little extra support in doing so. Any donations are extremely appreciated and would go a long way in aiding our project.

If you wish to be anonymous in your donation, this is completely fine but if you choose to leave your name, a special thanks will be given in the credits of the film. We are hoping to complete the project by December 2024 and submit to local film festivals given the chance.
