Unfortunately, the bouncy castle I was going to bring to the family fun day does not have a certificate of compliance or a risk assessment as it was just a friend's bouncy castle.
The certificate of compliance would cost between £65 and £85, the bouncy castle might not pass it, and other than this event there is not any real reason to get one.
So, thanks to Jonathan's advise, I have looked into hiring a bouncy castle slide combo which would come with all the required paperwork.
This would probably also be better for the bigger kids as well as just the little ones.
It costs £90 to hire. If anyone would be willing to donate a little towards having this for our family fun day, that would be great.
If people donate and we don't reach enough to hire it, I will pay people back who had already donated.
Thank you.
