We have done what we can to get two weeks of some sort of paycheck to our 90 plus staff members and offered them all access to our food stock. In addition we are also covering 100 percent of staff health insurance while we are closed for as long as we can.
This being said, our resources are slowly becoming tapped out. We understand that this is a tough time for everyone and are just looking at anything we can do to help assist our staff further. We are a family, some of us still working together 20 years later, some 11 years, some 1, we don't want to lose anyone.
Every little bit counts, and we will keep updating on social media. The outpouring of support is so encouraging and we can’t wait to see everyone again - hopefully sooner than later.
Hopefully this will be a chance for a positive reset. Hopefully we will be more aware of what it is like for those who live everyday all over the world without food and resources. Hopefully, we will end up more connected than ever.
So thank you, from all of us here, we can't wait to see you again.
Keep Austin Weird!
