Hi, my name is Julie and I am fundraising for my dear friends Nidhal and Amira Boughamni
Welcoming a new baby into the world should be one of the most joyful and exciting chapters of a family’s life. For Nidhal and Amira, however, their journey into parenthood has been overshadowed by an unexpected and devastating cancer diagnosis. Amira was diagnosed with Invasive ductal Carcinoma Grade 3, HER2 at 8months pregnant.
Baby Sanad arrived earlier than planned so that Amira could begin urgent treatment as soon as possible. As they navigate the overwhelming emotions that come with becoming first-time parents, they are also facing the fear, uncertainty, and challenges that accompany a cancer battle.
The road ahead will involve intensive treatments, countless appointments, and significant financial strain. With Nidhal currently on parental leave to care for his wife and newborn son during this critical time, the family has lost their primary source of income while household expenses and medical-related costs continue to grow. The financial burden of treatment and the many unforeseen expenses ahead are more than this young family can manage alone.
During what should be a season filled with celebration, love, and new beginnings, cancer has stolen some of the light and replaced it with worry, anxiety, and uncertainty. Yet through it all, Nidhal and Amira continue to face each day with courage, strength, and unwavering love for their precious baby boy.
We are reaching out to our community, family, and friends to help support this beautiful young family during one of the most difficult times of their lives. Any donation, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and help ease the financial stress they are carrying so they can focus on what matters most—Amira’s health, Baby Sanad’s well-being, and their journey together as a family.
We hope our community can come together to surround them with compassion, kindness, love, and strength. Your support, prayers, and generosity will remind them that they are not facing this battle alone.
