Bottesford DS Active 2021 Special Olypmics

Bottesford Town DSActive Football Team – in August 2021 our football team, which is made up of young adults with Downs Syndrome and
other learning difficulties, will be representing Lincolnshire and will be heading off to Liverpool to take part in the National Special Olympics. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for our team, but unfortunately they each have to fund it themselves, along with carers and our volunteer coaches, 14 in total.

We had planned a number of fundraising events but due to a Covid 19, these are now on hold, so we are asking for help to raise the money we need to pay in order for the team to secure their place. We will try and get some virtual fundraising  events up and running if we can.

anything over the amount that we need is to be donated to the NHS.

We appreciate this is a hard time or everyone but anything that you can spare would be a massive help.

Just an update, I am in awe of people’s generosity for this I truly am, in these uncertain times people are still so willing to help others. I can only say thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I know that the whole team says it too! THANK YOU!
