A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
he only takes the best.
We are three sisters, Rachel, Dani, & Beau and all our lives we have been blessed knowing we are loved. We have never had much money, however have always had what we needed, never going a day without knowing we are loved. That is our fortune!
On February 11th, we received the heartbreaking news that our beautiful dad, Bo Travers, had passed suddenly. If you knew our dad, you know he is an incredible man, with immense love, loyalty and respect for his friends and family. We love our dad with all of our heart and soul. We are incredibly grateful to have had him in our lives. We are determined to respect his last wishes to be buried in the Olema Cemetery with Veteran's Honors in a Black coffin.
Like many others, our family is no stranger to financial hardships and struggle. If you knew our Dad then you are not a stranger to his kindness and straight up open heart. As a result, many of you consider our dad, Bo to be your brother and part of your family as well.
Financially speaking, we only have so much, and the services far exceed what we can pay for. After our appointment at the funeral home, we learned that the arrangements are reaching over $10,000 and that the payment of these bills are asked for now.
Our Dad has been a man of great pride, honor, respect. He never wanted to put anyone out or ask for anything. We feel the same way, but we also can’t in our hearts, let our dad be put to rest without the respect he deserves.
Throughout his life, Dad has touched many people’s hearts and shared tons of laughs. Life throws us curve balls and that’s when we have to ask for help. So, here we are doing just that. Please help us grant his last wishes by donating anything you can to help for the sole purpose of funding Bo’s honor. May he ride free and forever.
Love to you all. Thank you for reading.
Please join us on February 25th at 2:00 at the Olema Cemetery. Celebration of Bo’s life to follow at the Point Reyes Dance Palace at 3:00.
