Botham Jean Memorial Committee

This is the campaign to raise funding to obtain landscape reparations for Botham Jean who was wrongfully taken from us by a Dallas police officer. There are many landmarks in Dallas. Most of these landmarks celebrate confederate slaveholders and are in injustice to and not a reflection of the true diverse population of Dallas, Texas. Our goal is to change that. We will start with renaming Lamar Street to Botham Jean Boulevard. Lamar street is the street on which South Side Flats resides and was Botham's home. Please note that Lamar was also a confederate slaveholder as well. Please donate as this will cover the fees to the city for the change, promotional materials, volunteer needs, and other costs to promote and complete this change.
