Hello! My name is Ed Yoo and I am a high school science teacher serving in the Dorchester Community and an active Open Water Scuba Instructor in the New England dive community. My vision is to increase access for the Dorchester community to become certified open water scuba divers and join the New England diving community.

Scuba diving is not just fun recreational activity... it is also a transformative experience that changes worldviews where divers become stewards of the ocean. For high school students, this can be the spark that sets a teenager onto an academic and career pathway to marine biology / environmental science.

Funds will be used to pay for course fees, rental equipment, and mask/fin/snorkels to complete academic, pool, and open water certification dives.
