Hello! A number of activists - largely from Extinction Rebellion - are headed out to the frontlines of Line 3 to work under the guidance of the indigenous leaders in fighting the pipeline construction. The Line 3 pipeline is a justice and environmental atrocity - a Canadian tar sands company is building a pipeline through indigenous territory covered by treaty (which the federal govt is breaking). This pipeline will cross 20+ rivers at the headwaters of the Mississippi River in Minnesota and the construction has already damaged local aquifers.

Now is the time to say "enough is enough". We will not let this happen.

We are being invited out to Minnesota by the indigenous leaders calling for people to step up and risk roles at their actions. The funds we raise will go to covering the ~10 peoples' travel, food, housing, materials for actions, and legal expenses associated with actions there. This money will go to the people in the group that cannot afford these expenses otherwise and the target is a fraction of the total expenses. If there is excess money raised that is not used, it will be donated directly to the indigenous organizers of the resistance for future actions.
