On September 8, 2023, Morocco was struck by a devastating 6.8-magnitude earthquake. Over 2,900 lives have been tragically lost, and the count of victims continues to rise. As we go about our daily routines, thousands in Morocco are left homeless and in dire need of assistance.
Moroccan students in the US and Canada are raising funds to help the victims (see list of universities below).
Please donate if you wish to support these relief efforts. Even a small contribution can provide vital supplies — every dollar counts. Donations will be disbursed to local organizations assisting with relief efforts on the ground.
Please share this message to help spread the word. For any questions, please reach out to Amina (graduate student at the Harvard Kennedy School, wa.me/16172060683).
Your contribution will make a significant difference for the Moroccan people and 37 million of us appreciate you for that. Thank you.
