Boston Liberation Health Intro Video

The Boston Liberation Health Group is making a short animated video as an accessible resource for introducing newcomers to the group and model!

 

For those not familiar, Liberation Health is A) a theory of human behavior which conceptualizes that the problems of individuals and families cannot be understood in isolation from the economic, political, cultural, and historical conditions which give rise to them; and B) a method of practice which helps individuals, families and communities understand the personal, cultural and institutional factors that contribute to their problem and act to change these conditions; to liberate themselves from both internal and external oppressions.

 

We are working to build the resources we have at our disposal to spread the word about our work and the model, so we've teamed up with the animator Tracy Nguyen to create a short online video. This video will allow anyone curious about the model to learn the about our core concepts and see an example of a Liberation Health assessment and intervention.

 

Animated videos of this kind are fairly costly, and so we are reaching out to our supporters help us compensate our animators for their hard work. We have already received an anonymous donation of $1,000, and we hope you will consider donating.
