Regenerar a Natureza, Cultivar a Comunidade

Olá, somos os TikTek, dois músicos com uma profunda paixão pela natureza.

Durante muitos anos viajámos e atuámos por diferentes partes do mundo, conectando-nos com pessoas através da música, da cultura e da criatividade. Foi essa jornada que nos trouxe até ao sul de Portugal, ao coração do Parque Natural da Costa Vicentina, onde decidimos criar raízes.

Ao longo dos anos, fomos observando duas realidades que nos tocaram profundamente.

A primeira é a degradação progressiva da paisagem local: o desaparecimento da floresta nativa, a perda de biodiversidade e a expansão crescente de monoculturas que empobrecem os ecossistemas da região.

A segunda é a falta de espaços sociais e culturais acessíveis, onde pessoas de diferentes nacionalidades, gerações e percursos de vida se possam encontrar, trocar experiências e criar ligações através da arte, da natureza e das práticas regenerativas.

Estas observações deram origem a um sonho.

O sonho de criar um lugar onde a regeneração ecológica e a vida comunitária possam crescer lado a lado.

Nos últimos cinco anos dedicámo-nos intensamente ao nosso projeto musical, atuando sempre que possível e poupando cada recurso ao nosso alcance para tornar esta visão uma realidade.

Este ano alcançámos um marco muito importante: conseguimos adquirir um terreno com 1,5 hectares perto de Rogil.

É um terreno dominado por pinheiros, que esteve abandonado durante muitos anos. Como tantas outras áreas da região, sofreu com a perda de biodiversidade e a degradação ecológica. Mas, por detrás desses desafios, vemos um enorme potencial.

Vemos a possibilidade de transformar este espaço num exemplo vivo de regeneração.

Um lugar onde as espécies autóctones possam regressar.

Um lugar onde a biodiversidade possa florescer.

Um lugar onde as pessoas se possam reunir, aprender, criar e contribuir.

Nasce assim o Bosk das Artes, um projeto que une a regeneração da natureza ao desenvolvimento cultural e comunitário.

Inspirados pelos princípios da permacultura, queremos regenerar o terreno de forma gradual e responsável, criando ao mesmo tempo as condições necessárias para que este espaço possa acolher atividades culturais, educativas e comunitárias.

A primeira fase do projeto inclui:

Recuperação ecológica do terreno e introdução de espécies nativas

Construção de uma pequena estrutura para guardar ferramentas e materiais

Instalação de uma casa de banho ecológica

Construção de um deck de madeira para oficinas, performances, concertos, encontros e atividades comunitárias

A nossa visão é criar um espaço aberto e inclusivo, onde voluntários, artistas, músicos, educadores, agricultores, famílias e todas as pessoas interessadas possam participar ativamente neste processo.

Um lugar onde a cultura e a natureza não existam separadas, mas se alimentem mutuamente.

Um lugar onde possamos aprender uns com os outros, partilhar conhecimentos, desenvolver projetos e experimentar formas mais conscientes de viver em relação com a terra e com a comunidade.

A compra do terreno exigiu todas as poupanças que conseguimos reunir ao longo destes anos. Estamos profundamente gratos por termos conseguido dar este primeiro passo, mas agora precisamos de apoio para transformar esta visão em realidade.

Regenerating Nature, Cultivating Community

Hello, we are TikTek, two musicians with a deep love for nature.

For many years, we have travelled and performed around the world, connecting with people through music, culture, and creativity. Eventually, our journey brought us to the beautiful region of South Portugal, within the Natural Park of Costa Vicentina, where we decided to make our home.

Over the years, we have witnessed two realities that deeply touched us.

The first is the ongoing degradation of the local landscape: native forests disappearing, biodiversity declining, and large monocultures spreading across the region.

The second is the lack of accessible social and cultural spaces where people from different backgrounds, nationalities, and generations can come together, exchange experiences, and build meaningful connections through art, nature, and regenerative practices.

These observations inspired a dream.

A dream of creating a place where ecological restoration and community life could grow together.

For the past five years, we have dedicated ourselves intensely to our music project, performing wherever we could and saving every possible resource to make this dream a reality.

This year, after years of effort, we finally achieved an important milestone: we purchased 1.5 hectares of land near Rogil, Portugal.

The land is covered mainly by pine trees and has been neglected for many years. Like much of the region, it has suffered from biodiversity loss and ecological degradation. Yet beneath these challenges, we see enormous potential.

We envision transforming this land into a living example of regeneration.

A place where native species can return.

A place where biodiversity can flourish.

A place where people can gather, learn, create, and contribute.

Our project, Bosk das Artes, combines ecological restoration with cultural and community development.

Following the principles of permaculture, we plan to regenerate the land gradually and responsibly while creating simple infrastructure that will allow the project to grow.

The first phase includes:

Restoring and enriching the land with native species

Building a small storage structure for tools and equipment

Installing an ecological compost toilet

Constructing a wooden deck for workshops, performances, gatherings, and community events

Our vision is to create an open and inclusive space where volunteers, artists, musicians, gardeners, educators, families, and curious minds can come together and actively participate in this process.

A place where culture and nature are not separate, but deeply connected.

A place where people can contribute their skills, learn from each other, and experience a different way of relating to the land and to community.

Buying the land required all the savings we had accumulated over the past years. We are incredibly grateful to have reached this first step, but now we need support to begin transforming the vision into reality.
