Hi. My name is Debbie Bearden Perrin and I am reaching out to my friends and family, and anyone that might be able to assist my daughter Brittany Borsotti and her family with a donation or prayer. Brittany has been disabled and unable to work since February 2023. Recently Brittany and her husband Justin began noticing mold around their inside windows. With the damp weather they have been having in Hanford they thought that was the cause. Their house is a 3 bedroom on a raised foundation. The opening to underneath the house is in my granddaughter’s room. Justin decided to take a look underneath the house which was horrifying. Standing water inches deep was as far as he could see. They called their insurance company and a plumber. Water had to be siphoned out before a plumber could crawl under. Once he did it was worse than anyone could have imagined. It was standing water and sewage from the sewer pipes that had been corroded and allowing the sewer water to go no further than under their house. Maggots were present, and their heat and air conditioning vents had mold and the maggots in them too. They broke the tile in the bathroom and checked the walls. They were told the bathroom needed to be torn out and replaced due to the mold in the walls and floors. Insurance came back and said they would not cover anything because the water had leaked under the house for over 7 days. Each room has mold growing up the walls. Unfortunately, they are unable to fund all of the repairs required to return to their home. Praise God that family and friends have allowed them to stay at their homes until this nightmare is over. For those of you that know Brittany and Justin personally you know they are humble, hardworking Christians. It is very hard for them knowing that I am putting a GoFundMe together.
