Posting this with my sister’s permission because so many people have reached out asking how they can help support their family during this season. ❤️

My sister Monica, her husband Mark, and their boys have recently found themselves walking through an incredibly difficult stretch all at once. Between ongoing medical concerns, upcoming surgeries, travel back and forth to Indianapolis for appointments and treatment planning, time away from work, and trying to continue caring for their family through it all, the emotional, physical, and financial weight has become overwhelming.

This past week alone included ER visits and a serious infection scare involving one of the boys, while Mark continues recovering from an involved surgery and being out of work for a season. At the same time, Monica is preparing for upcoming surgeries and navigating a recent cancer diagnosis.

Anyone who knows Monica and Mark knows they are the kind of people who quietly carry burdens, love others well, work hard, and rarely ask for help. But sometimes life hits all at once, and community becomes part of how we help carry one another through.

This fundraiser is being created to help relieve some of the everyday pressures that come with medical uncertainty and extended recovery seasons, including:

• medical and travel expenses for Indianapolis appointments

• hotel stays, gas, and meals while traveling

• lost income during recovery periods

• childcare and household support needs

• groceries, freezer meals, and day-to-day family expenses during this season
