"Borrowed Time" - Student Short Film Fundraiser

We're a small group of Final Year film and TV students and aspiring filmmakers students studying in DKIT who are seeking funding for our 20 minute major film project this year.

"Borrowed Time" explores the concept of relationships and their impacts on one individual across various epochs. The story travels back from 2023 to various years throughout the decade of the 1990's.

After a sudden breakup with her long-term partner, Laura comes to her mother Francesca seeking advice. The protagonist Francesca looks back upon her tumultuous past partners to try figure out the best advice she can give her daughter, and in doing so, realizes a lot more about herself and the impact that people in life can have on your self-image.

We will be filming at the end of February 2024 so any donations to help us fund the creation of our project will be greatly appreciated. All funds received will go towards creating all aspects of the film, be it Audio-Visually, Prop Work, Overall Scale in both Set & Acting and much much more.
