Borromeo Family's Home Lost in Lahaina Wildfires

On August 8, my cousins Rodney (a native son of Lahaina, Maui) and Kristen Borromeo lost their home of 17 years in the deadliest U.S .wildfire in more than 100 years. Satellite imagery shows that their Lahainaluna home has been burned to the ground - and neighbors were able to confirm there is nothing left but a concrete slab where the house once stood. While they did not have the opportunity to evacuate any of their belongings, they are safe and staying with family. The Borromeos have a son, Kaleb, who is attending the University of Las Vegas as he pursues his dream of becoming a chiropractor.

Rodney and Kristen are two of the most generous and caring people that I know and during this extraordinary time could use your help to support their basic needs such as temporary housing, clothing, food, personal hygiene supplies, and other living essentials.

Mahalo for your compassion and kokua.
