Boro is a 22 year old charismatic and loving young man with autism. Since his childhood it has been clear to everyone around him that his social energy is radiant and magnetic. Since graduating high school Boro dreamed of the opportunity to go to college and experience that next step in life like the rest of his peers. Thanks to Washington State University ROAR program Boro has finally gotten that opportunity.
This program, now with 19 students, is a national model. It provides a fully inclusive Postsecondary Educational Program to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. However because ROAR is not a degree focused program, Boro is not eligible for normal college financial aid opportunities available to most college students. Boro and family are so grateful for this opportunity and appreciate any gift towards his ROAR tution.
Thank you!
