Help Me Get to Borneo – Support My Conservation Journey!
Hi, my name is Philip and I’m 13 years old. I’m fundraising to join my school’s Borneo 2026 expedition with Outlook Expeditions! This isn’t just a trip - it’s an opportunity to learn about conservation, protect endangered species like orangutans and turtles, and support local communities.
A key part of this program is teaching independence, responsibility, and financial management, which means we must fundraise for our own trip. I’m taking on this challenge by organising
my own events and working hard to make this dream a reality.
Why Borneo?
I’ve always been fascinated by monkeys, the tropical climate, and the incredible biodiversity of the rainforest. My favorite subjects are Geography and Biology, and this trip will allow me to see firsthand how we can protect these fragile ecosystems. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me to experience the natural world in a way I never have before.
Rowing for Borneo – My First National Event!
Alongside my fundraising events, I am also training hard for my first-ever national rowing competition! Rowing has taught me dedication, resilience, and endurance - all skills that will help me on this expedition.
I’m proud to be part of Guildford Rowing Club, an incredible community that has supported me in my journey as a young rower. Rowing is an incredible sport that deserves more awareness among young people, and I hope my fundraising efforts will also shine a light on the dedication of young athletes in our club.
To make my first national event even more meaningful, I’m using it as an opportunity to raise extra funds for my trip and conservation efforts. You can support me by:
