Boris' Medical fund

My best freind Boris was the victim of a robbery last night, he is recovering from a gunshot wound in ICU at the moment and has undergone several surgeries. 

At approximately 11pm on Sunday, Boris went to a Wells Fargo ATM to make a deposit when two men approached the car from behind unnoticed by Boris. One of the men jumped into the passenger seat and held Boris at gunpoint. Being caught by surprise Boris reacted by fighting the first attacker off but during the struggle Boris was shot. Not withstanding Boris continued to fight for his life and keep the would be murderer theif from getting away, he sped off with the theif still in the car to seperate the two robbers.

Because of Boris' actions the Police were able to apprehend the first attacker within minutes of  responding and subsequently caught the other guy later that morning.

From speaking with police, it appears that these two scumbags have been commiting dozens of similar crimes for the last few months; they have robbed several other men at gunpoint, however apparently they like to follow women from the banks home and rob them then.

I think it is safe to say that if Boris had not fought back so hard to stop these two criminals and taken a gunshot in the process, that these two dangerous punks would still be on the street; armed and commiting more robberies. Perhaps the next victim could have been a loved one of yours.

Boris has been one of my best freinds for over 12 years. He is a hardworking mechanic at a small repair shop and does not have any benefits or health insurance that will cover the extreme costs of the significant medical procedures he'll need from this, not to mention loss of wages and additional expenses.

Boris is honestly one of the  most genuinely sincere and good people i know.  I have always known Boris to go extraordinarily  far out of  his way to help others in many ways, but frequently he spends most of his weekends and free time helping people that are in true need with car repairs or similar issues and charging little to nothing. He also spends several days a week for the last 8 years helping raise the 9 year old son of his ex girlfreind, simply because the boy has no decent father figure in his life and Boris is the kind of person that wouldnt break the bond they had formed when he dated the boys mother.

I feel like Boris did the community a service by fighting back and causing these criminals to be taken off of the street. Please help in any way you can, whether it be thoughts and prayers, sharing this campaign, or making a much needed donation.
