Boris Fridman Fund

Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to look into this fundraising page. My name is Hares Husseini, and I am creating this page with the consent and permission of Leonid and Olga Fridman, Boris's parents.

Over the last few years, Boris, or as we like to call him "Boki", has fought the hard fight with Glioblastoma which is a fast-growing and aggressive brain tumor. During this time, Boris has undergone 3 different surgeries, chemo, and radiation. As a result of this, his family has accumulated substantial medical expenses with the ongoing treatment required to battle his cancer. We are asking for donations and contributions to aid his family during this difficult time. We understand economic conditions are tough for everyone, so we doubly appreciate anything you can offer and or spare. But instead of just asking you for money... I would like to tell you all a little bit more about Boris:

Boris was informed of his condition right before his wife gave birth to their beautiful little girl. Not only is he a loving father, husband, and only child to his own parents, but Boris was also a coach at Georgia Rush Soccer Club. Additionally, he is a member of the former Prima Football Club ADASL soccer team, which was named in sponsorship of their family's gymnastic facility in Alpharetta, GA. You will be hard-pressed to find anyone as passionate as he is about the beautiful game. Unfortunately, his condition has caused him to step away from work and being able to do what he loves most in coaching and playing soccer. The last item to describe is the friend, and the way I remember him is that he can walk into any room and make you laugh or smile no matter how upset you are. He is the goofiest guy you will ever meet and always has a great joke up his sleeves. He has made my life better by simply being in it, and I am sure if you got to know him, you would feel the same.
