Border Patrol Agent - Chase Greene

Donation protected
Hi everyone!

My name is Jordan and I am creating this fundraiser in hopes of helping my sister and her family as they navigate through this unexpected crisis.

As many of you know, my brother-in-law, Chase Greene, was severely injured in an accident on Tuesday May 2, 2023. He was struck by an 18 wheeler. By the absolute grace of God he is still alive and fighting but he has a long recovery road ahead of him. He has broken ribs, a bruised heart, bruised lungs, and was recently diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) requiring extensive rehabilitation just reaching normal survival activities.

His wife (my sister) has been and will be dividing her time between the hospital visits and taking care of their almost 3 year old son. Not to mention she is 7 months pregnant and due with their second child in July. There is little doubt that his hospital stay will extend beyond her due date. He is the sole income provider for their family and he clearly will not be working any time soon. He also has 2 daughters in Florida that he provides for. It is my hope that I can help provide them with enough money to last them through his lengthy recovery.

But there is another side to this story worth considering, one involving a sense of gratitude owed for commitments such as made by Chase. He joined the Army in 2010 to become an Army Ranger and was assigned to the 1st Ranger Battalion, in Savannah, GA. As a Ranger, he did two Afghan tours which were both supporting direct action missions. His last deployment was to Poland cross training with the polish military in the runup to the Ukrainian war.

Chase decided to exit the military after 11 years, and applied to both US government and state law enforcement agencies. He subsequently was hired and graduated from the Texas State Police Academy working for a Texas Police Dept. However, Chase was later selected by the US Customs and Border Protection to attend the Border Patrol (BP) Academy graduating in Mar 2023 and was then assigned to the Kingsville, TX BP Station. While working with his field training officer their CBP truck was struck by the 18 wheeler requiring life-flight lift of both CBP officers to Corpus Christi Trauma Hospital. Both required multiple operations to save their lives. Chase was in ICU for 3.5 weeks and, due to the TBI, will be moved to a Neuro Rehabilitation Center for long term rehabilitation.

It is not lost on me that times are extremely hard financially for families these days, and I would not be asking or creating this fundraiser if I wasn’t worried about my sister, her husband, Chase, and their little family. Chase has a long road ahead of him and Taylor will be bringing their second child into the world more than likely by herself. I know they can benefit from this help to at least relieve them of some financial burden so they can focus on getting better and bringing my newest nephew into the world.

Creating a gofundme was not our initial thought but, with so many asking to donate - I figured creating this fundraiser would help make it easier. 100% of proceeds raised will go to Taylor and her family to help them move forward.

If you are able to donate, please do so. If you cannot, please share the link in hopes that someone you know is able to, and please send prayers for Chase’s full recovery and for the safety of the family.

Our family continues to be touched and forever grateful from friends, family and strangers who have sent prayers and kind words. It does not go unnoticed and we are extremely thankful for every single one of you.

For any random people who may stumble upon this fundraiser somehow, a news article is attached to verify legitimacy.
