It all started when I saw my mother as an artist creating new pieces, in the most diverse ways, with the most diverse materials.

She has always encouraged and inspired me.

As a restless and irreverent teenager, this was my way of keeping calm, it was like therapy and that's why I never saw myself as an artist.

I started by creating small pieces in macramé. I didn't have the financial capacity to present family and friends, so I made the presents myself.

They liked my creations so much that they started ordering more pieces.

And I created from such a pure place, with so much love that satiated my soul, that I couldn't put a value on it, so I allowed people to pay what they could or thought was fair by conscious donation.

As an adult, always working in other areas, I never took art very seriously. This extra money was used to travel and help with daily expenses.

I felt frustrated for a long time, trapped in a cage while working hard for others, living unhappily and without purpose.

I didn't know who I was, or what I wanted to do with my life, I was on autopilot.

I never considered art as a path to happiness, society did not show it as an option.

Until I was challenged by Nini Zizaine, the owner of Irmão- Place of Happiness, place where I worked to create a macramé lamp.

A complex piece, I thought I wasn't up to it and I didn't have enough knowledge to create it.

When I went to deliver it on the day of the event, they said it was no longer possible to exhibit, it was too short notice, I left defeated, sad, until my partner asked me if I was going to accept it, settle for it and leave. To which I reacted, I put the fear inside the bag, took the macramé lamp out of there and took it exposed to meet her, she was delighted and immediately found a place to expose it, we were both very emotional.

Soon after, she asked me to create a two meter macramé sun hat with crystals and shells to place in her retreat space in Ibiza, the difficulty level increased a lot.

It was actually the most challenging piece I've done so far and the one that impacted me the most.

It was the key that opened the most important door I chose to open, that of freedom.

This piece was open in continuous production for 3 months in the middle of my bedroom, I tied and untied knots thousands of times, my hands burned until they bled, I cried silently, screamed in frustration and sweated until I managed to finish.

The other side also revealed itself, I was criticized, they advised me to give up, they said it was just a hobby, that I wasn't capable, that I didn't have enough capacity or knowledge to create such a piece. Many were the voices of sabotage, mine and others. Many times I wanted to give up, it was the easiest way.

It was very challenging because I still hadn't mastered the technique. I studied and practiced a lot in a self-taught way, in overcoming and resilient mode, i fall in love with the process!

I'm a fearless woman and I know that what doesn't challenge me doesn't transform me.

So I didn't conform and didn't rest until I managed to fulfill what was proposed to me.

Nini bet on my potential and it was an opportunity that transformed my life. She believed in me and I trusted her.

It was precisely there that the magic happened and everything started to flow. Seeing the emotion in her reaction, the tears streaming down her face, her whole body shivering.

Then i knew i was fulfilling my purpose!

The more I challenged myself and worked on my personal development, the deeper I delved into myself, the more the pieces I created magnetized incredible people with great spiritual teachings.

Until I also started to develop these abilities in myself and deepened the study of crystals, in their healing properties. They helped me a lot and I felt the need to incorporate them into my pieces.

Thus, making more and more personalized work, thinking about the measurements, tastes and needs of each one.

Creating unique pieces for unique people!

A creative mind does not stagnate and is not satisfied and with this field of possibilities open, a friend proposed a new challenge, to create a piece of clothing for the biggest electronic festival in the world - Tomorrowland, Belgium.

I couldn't miss this opportunity!

To test my new skills, I decided to give it a try first. I made a dress for myself and armor for my partner. Since there was also going to be the electronic music festival - Moga, on the coast of Caparica - Portugal, in this same place where I already had my pieces exposed, Irmão- Place of Happiness

It really is a place that makes me feel at home, that welcomes me like family, immersed in a paradisiacal movie setting, living a dream, sometimes it seemed like a mirage, but what I felt was very real.

Wearing these clothes made me feel able to show who I am, it catalyzed a desire for free movement, it gave me the opportunity to study people's reaction and receptivity.

It was simply incredible!

Ecstatic, Nini soon ordered two dresses and a vest from me, and provided the opportunity to sell my pieces at the festivals that took place there.

And so the dream began to come true.

My friend and partner were a success wherever they went, and there were already several international artists and DJs who spread magic through these pieces. The grip has been very good and many have praised my art.

Levou me bastante tempo para sair do casulo e assumir o poder da minha vida.

Largar tudo e tornar-me uma mulher independente, escolher viver do sonho e assumir a responsabilidade do que isso implica.

Transformar essa pequena e tímida lagarta, numa linda borboleta empreendedora.

Tudo começou ao ver a minha mãe enquanto artista a criar peças novas, das mais diversas formas, com os mais diversos materiais.

Sempre me estimulou e inspirou.

Enquanto adolescente inquieta e irreverente, esta era a minha maneira de me manter calma, era como terapia e por isso nunca me vi como artista.

Comecei por criar pequenas peças em macramê. Não tinha capacidade financeira para presentar a família e amigos, então eu própria fazias os presentes.

Eles gostaram tanto das minhas criações que começaram a encomendar mais peças.

E eu criava de um lugar tão puro, com tanto amor que saciava a minha alma, que não conseguia colocar um valor, então permiti que as pessoas pagassem o que pudessem ou achassem justo por donativo consciente.

Já em adulta sempre trabalhando noutras áreas, nunca levei a arte muito a sério.

Este dinheiro extra servia para viajar e ajudar nas despesas diárias.

Senti me muito tempo frustrada, presa numa gaiola enquanto trabalhava arduamente para os outros, vivia infeliz e sem propósito.

Não sabia quem era, nem o que queria fazer da minha vida, estava no piloto automático.

Nunca considerei a arte como caminho para a felicidade, a sociedade não mostrava isso como opção.

Até que fui desafiada pela Nini Zizaine, proprietária do Irmão -Place of Happiness, local onde trabalhava, a criar um candeeiro em macramé.

Uma peça complexa, pensei não estar à altura e não ter conhecimento suficiente para a criar. Quando a fui entregar no dia do evento, disseram que já não era possível expor, estava muito em cima da hora, fui embora derrotada, triste, até que o meu parceiro me perguntou se eu ia aceitar, me contentar e ir embora. Ao qual reagi, meti o medo dentro do saco, tirei de lá o candeeiro e levei-o exposto ao encontro dela, ela ficou encantada e de imediato encontrou um lugar para o expor, ambas ficamos muito emocionadas.

Logo de seguida pediu me para criar um chapéu de sol de dois metros em macramé com cristais e conchas para colocar no seu espaço de retiro em Ibiza, o nível de dificuldade aumentou bastante.

Na verdade foi a peça mais desafiante que fiz até então e a que mais me impactou.

Foi a chave que abriu a porta mais importante que eu escolhi abrir, a da liberdade.

Esta peça esteve aberta em continua produção por 3 meses no meio do meu quarto, eu fiz e desfiz nós milhares de vezes, as minhas mãos queimaram até sangrar, chorei em silêncio, gritei de frustração e suei até consegui terminar.

Também o outro lado se revelou, fui criticada, aconselharam me a desistir, disseram que era só um hobby, que eu não era capaz, que não tinha capacidade nem conhecimento suficiente para criar tal peça.

Muitas foram as vozes de sabotagem, minhas e dos outros. Muitas foram as vezes que quis desistir, era o caminho mais fácil.

Foi muito desafiante pois ainda não dominava a técnica. Estudei e pratiquei muito de forma autodidata, em modo superação e resiliente. Apaixonei-me pelo processo!

Sou uma mulher destemida e sei que o que não me desafia, não me transforma!

Então não me conformei e não descansei até conseguir cumprir o que me foi proposto.

A Nini apostou no meu potencial e foi uma oportunidade que transformou a minha vida. Acreditou em mim e eu confiei nela.

Foi precisamente aí que a magia aconteceu e tudo começou a fluir. Ver a emoção na reação dela, as lágrimas a escorrer pelo rosto, o corpo todo arrepiado.

Aí eu soube que estava a cumprir o meu propósito!

Quanto mais eu me desafiava e trabalhava no meu desenvolvimento pessoal, mergulhava mais fundo em mim, mais as peças que criava magnetizava pessoas incríveis com grandes ensinamentos espirituais.

Até que comecei também a desenvolver essas capacidades em mim e aprofundei no estudo de cristais, nas suas propriedades curativas. Auxiliaram me bastante e senti a necessidade de incorporar nas minhas peças.

Fazendo assim cada vez mais um trabalho mais personalizado, pensando mas medidas, gostos e necessidades de cada um.

Uma mente criativa não estagna e não se contenta e com esse campo de possibilidades aberto, foi proposto um novo desafio por um amigo, criar uma peça de roupa para o maior festival do mundo electrónico - Tomorrowland, Bélgica.
